Prescriptions
Patients who require daily medication will be offered the option of an automatically generated monthly prescription once the doctor is happy that their condition is stabilised. There would then be no need to order your medication - the prescription would be ready to collect as come to end of your month's supply of tablets.
We can even arrange for the prescription to be sent to one of the local chemists for you.
Those who require their medication on a less regular basis can order it:-
PLEASE NOTE THAT TO USE THE INTERNET PRESCRIPTION SERVICE YOU WILL NEED TO USE YOUR INDIVIDUAL ACCESS CODES - THESE ARE THE SAME CODES THAT ALLOW YOU TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT. ENQUIRE AT RECEPTION FOR DETAILS.
PLEASE ALLOW TWO WORKING DAYS BEFORE COLLECTING YOUR PRESCRIPTION.
Sometimes the doctor may request you book an appointment to discuss your prescription request.
ALL PATIENTS ON REGULAR OR SEMI-REGULAR MEDICATION WILL NEED TO BE REVIEWED BY A DOCTOR OR NURSE AT LEAST ANNUALLY.
