Patient apps and websites
Order repeat prescriptions and view your medical record online, at any time. Two providers offer the same services — use whichever you prefer.
What you can do online
Both Patient Access and the NHS App let you:
- Request repeat prescriptions – simply select which of the medications presented are required.
- View your medical record – which includes test results, vaccinations and consultations.
- Book some GP appointments.
You only need one of them. If you already use the NHS App, you do not need to register for Patient Access as well.
Patient Access
If you have an NHS App log-in you can use this and do not need to register.
To register, please contact the surgery to obtain the required codes:
- at reception, or
- by phone on 01246 412242, or
- by email to ddicb.dmp@nhs.net — but only if you have previously provided the practice with your email address. Please include your full name, date of birth and address in the email.

NHS App
To register, use the app itself or go to NHS App Online. You will be asked for additional information to identify you, so you do not need to contact the surgery first.
The NHS App also gives you access to other NHS services, including your NHS number and your vaccination record.
