What to expect outside our normal hours, and how to get help before we reopen.
In a genuine emergency, call 999
Chest pain or shortness of breath count as emergencies — don't wait, call straight away.

Our phone lines close at 18:00, though reception stays open until 18:30.
We’re closed on all Bank Holidays.
Outside of opening hours
If you need urgent medical help while we’re closed, use NHS 111 online or call 111 — both are free from landlines and mobiles.
Out-of-hours services get busy, so please only use them if you genuinely can’t wait until we reopen.
Wednesday afternoon closures for staff training
We close at 13:00 on the following Wednesdays for essential staff training:
- 9 September 2026
- 14 October 2026
- 11 November 2026
- December 2026 – cancelled to manage winter pressures
- January 2027 – cancelled to manage winter pressures
- 10 February 2027
- 10 March 2027
