The practice will close at 4:30 on 24th and 31st December and will be closed on the 25th and 26th December and 1st January.

Emergency appointments will be available on 29th, 30th and 31st December. Limited pre-bookable appointments are available on 30th December.

The practice fully reopens on 2nd January.

The surgery phone lines close at 18:00 but reception is open until 18:30.

The surgery will be closed on Bank Holidays.

Please note that on the following Wednesdays the surgery will close at 13:00 for essential staff training:

• December 2025 date cancelled to manage winter workload pressures 
• 7th January 2026
• 11th February 2026
• 11th March 2026

If you need urgent medical assistance when the surgery is closed please use NHS 111 online or dial 111. Calls to this number are free from both landlines and mobiles.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
